Nova Scotia - Lunenburg, Canada

We were free rolling after St. John's, and our original plans were to travel back up north of Quebec. However, our new friends Kathryn and Roger were going to be at the Lunenburg Folk Festival. We just love folk festivals, so voila! Back to Nova Scotia and Lunenburg. That coastline is spectacular. It's also the filiming location for one of our favourite shows, Haven. Of course, the southern coast is also home to Peggy's cove, La Have - the longest running ferry crossing [so we did cross here], the Bluenose sailing vessel, a huge lobster industry [although I'd had my lobster roll at Shediac, lobster capital of the world in NB], Mahones Bay, Chester, it's just a beautiful area. Oh, and it's another UNESCO world heritage sight. Sigh. This is the place that really convinced us to find some adirondack chairs [also known as muskoka chairs in Ontario] to try and ship back home for our deck we will one day finish. Enjoy the pics. We really enjoyed stopping in all these spots to take them :-).
